Job Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support on geotechnical projects during the exploration, design, and construction phases.
- Planning, performing, and overseeing subsurface investigation and testing programs.
- Preparing and/or reviewing field test logs and geological/engineering reports.
- Survey interpretation, calculation of quantities, and creation of various other supportive drawings and graphics.
- Development of geotechnical reports and specifications.
- Performing geological and geotechnical engineering analysis.
- Proposal development.
- Perform and oversee construction observation of specialty geotechnical works and foundation construction.
- Must be willing to travel; some overnight and out‑of‑town travel should be expected.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- EIT certification.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Familiarity with APILE, LPILE, GRLWEAP, Geo Studio, and AASHTOWare Pavement M‑E software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
- Master's degree in geotechnical engineering.
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record, and credit check.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment screening.
The compensation range for this position is between $65,000 to $95,000 per year. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. We remain committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation to all employees, regardless of their location.
