PlantEngineer (M/F/X), Fulltime
As a Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our technical projects from concept to completion. You’ll be responsible for defining project specifications and ensuring seamless execution, including container and building installations, acoustic enclosures, and the delivery of auxiliary components for our cutting‑edge mtu Kinetic Power Pack units. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative energy solutions and make a real impact on mission‑critical systems.
YourResponsibilities
- Definition of the plant layout
- Design of plant components (ventilation, cooling water circuits, exhaust system, fuel system)
- Supplier management
- Final inspections at supplier facilities
- Support during factory testing of containers
- Technical customer clarifications
- Cooperation with entities within the Rolls Royce group as well as with suppliers and customers to improve and expand our Balance of Plant scope, especially with regard to modular concepts
- Support of Sales, Project Management, and After Sales (also on site) with technical consulting and troubleshooting for our container solutions and other Balance of Plant scope
- Evaluation and validation of new Balance of Plant technologies
- Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable
- Experience with stationary power stations / CHP applications / biogas plants required, preferably with sound knowledge of genset containers & enclosures
- Excellent English (spoken and written), French fluency
- Highly committed team player with a competent, professional demeanour towards customers, colleagues and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Open to innovative methods and concepts
- Design experience with CAD systems
