Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years OR experience
- Strong orthopedic background (required)
- Some endoscopy experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Must have endo or C-section experience
- RN scrubbing not required
- CSTs and some RNs scrub
- All OR staff assist with room cleaning and turnover alongside orderlies
- Charge Nurse and ANM present
- CSTs, RN scrubbers, and orderlies support operations
- EMR: Epic
- Instrument Tracking: TDOC
- Endoscopy Documentation: Pro Vation
- OR team covers Endoscopy
- CSTs must have some SPD and HLD experience

Candidate must provide written notice confirming:

- Fast-paced OR in a resort town
- Robust surgical services
- Heavy orthopedic focus with strong sports medicine and robotics
- Endoscopy and C-section experience required
- Unit: Surgical Services OR RN – Floor 2
- OR Suites: 4 ORs + 1 Endoscopy Suite
- Average Cases: ~8 per day
- Required: BLS
- Recommended: ACLS
- Orthopedics:
Total joints, sports medicine, hand & trauma - General Surgery
- GYN
- C-Sections
- Endoscopy
- Shifts: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Typical hours: 0700–1530 (may adjust as needed)
- Weeknight Call:
- 1530–0700
- ~4 weeknights per month (may increase with staffing needs)
- Weekend Call:
- Typically 1 full weekend per month
- 0700 Saturday – 0700 Monday
- Holiday Call:
- May be assigned if a holiday falls during the contract
- Response Time:
- Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
- Blue scrubs (provided per Surgical Services policy)
- OR-approved shoes required
- 5 days of unit-specific orientation
- Traveler paired with a preceptor
- Unit norms and system values reviewed
