CNA Caregiver About the Role
The CNA Caregiver role at Mountain Springs Assisted Living Community supports residents by providing compassionate, person-centered care and assisting with daily living needs. You will work as part of a dedicated care team to help residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.
Success in this role means delivering reliable care during 3–12 hour shifts, communicating clearly with team members, and following care plans and safety procedures to ensure a supportive environment for all residents.

Duties & Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care in accordance with established care plans and facility procedures.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility support, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with toileting needs and maintain appropriate hygiene and comfort.
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition, including observations relevant to care.
- Take and record vital signs and other routine measurements as directed by care protocols.
- Assist with resident nutrition and hydration by supporting meals and documenting intake when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized care environment following infection control standards.
- Support safe transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics and approved techniques.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner according to facility expectations.
- Follow all privacy, dignity, and compliance standards to protect resident information.
- Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification per applicable state requirements).
- Experience providing direct resident care, with 1+ year preferred (years of experience may vary based on qualifications).
- Ability to work 3–12 hour shifts as scheduled, including weekends and/or holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of basic care practices, infection prevention, and resident safety procedures.
- Comfort supporting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities.
- Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills; familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, respectful approach to care with a focus on dignity and inclusion.
- Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and compliance requirements consistently.
- Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment.
- Competitive pay: 20–$25 per hour.
