Systems Engineer
Location: Idaho City

Job DescriptionSpecific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.)
Strong JBoss experience and troubleshooting ability is a must.
The role involves supporting and implementing enterprise middleware solutions, including:
- Supporting middleware components like web servers [Apache 2.x], application servers [Red Hat JBoss EAP 5.x, EAP 7.x, and Tomcat 5.x, 7.x], and messaging middleware like JMS.
- Supporting Portal solutions like Liferay 6.x, 7.x Community Edition.
- Working with Access/Identity Management Solutions like Site Minder and WSO2 Identity Server 5.0.
- Development experience in Java and Web Services.
- Working on OS platforms like Solaris, CentOS, Windows.
- Participating in design sessions and collaborating with Architects, Technical SMEs, Engineers, Developers, and Operations Teams.
The system administrator role involves:
- Troubleshooting production issues related to middleware solutions.
- Managing source control with Subversion (branching, merging, rollback).
- Managing automated and manual application build and development jobs using Hudson.
- Providing after-hours and on-call support as needed.
- Working in a fast-paced, agile environment and quickly coming up to speed on existing systems.
- Having working knowledge of welfare eligibility case management systems, preferably with Idaho's Medicaid Eligibility automation.
- Experience working with government agencies is advantageous but not required.
- Education:
4-year degree or equivalent technical study.
