Medical Interpreter (Onsite) in Wood River Valley,  (Contract, Independent Contractor)

Role:
Provide face-to-face interpreting services at healthcare facilities in Wood River Valley,  surrounding areas. This is a flexible, as-needed position with assignments as an independent contractor.

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between healthcare providers and patients.
• Maintain professional conduct and cultural sensitivity during all assignments.
• Follow client instructions while managing the flow of communication in a professional manner.

• Proven experience in medical interpretation is preferred.
• Fluency in English and the target language, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
• Excellent listening and note-taking skills for high accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
• Capable of delivering interpretations while maintaining neutrality and professionalism.
• Education in languages or interpretation is a plus.
