Dishwasher|Prep

Little Mamas Italian is expanding to Cornelius, and we are looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our kitchen and help us maintain our high standards as we continue to grow.

This hybrid role combines dishwashing responsibilities with food prep duties, making you a key part of our kitchen’s success. You’ll help keep operations running smoothly while supporting the culinary team with prep tasks as needed.

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently
• Maintain clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Monitor dish machine performance to ensure proper sanitation
• Handle all dishware carefully to prevent breakage

• Assist with food prep (chopping, portioning, stocking)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and kitchen areas
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

• Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud environment
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Little Mamas Italian Kitchen is inspired by the old classic Italian restaurants in New England from the 60s and 70s. Really well done classics, without pretense. A stiff cocktail and a bowl of fresh pasta or a knob of just-made mozzarella are the simple but elegant menu items to look out for here. But the broiled steak will bowl you over too.
