Farmworkers, Farm & Ranch Animals

We run a feedlot were we mix feed and feed cattle daily. We clean the cattle pens and on occasion we process cattle. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures, mix feed, drive feed truck to distribute the feed, clean cattle pens, bed cattle pens, haul feed from pit to feedlot, help process cattle.

Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: pickups, cars, etc, tractors, loader, feed mixer, feed truck. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Must speak and understand English.

Housing:
Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals:
Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 0 months

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle.
