Maintenance Technician

Our client, a reputable organization dedicated to providing quality housing solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting the upkeep and safety of residential complexes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Perform general repairs in individual apartments and across the complex, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, painting, and groundskeeping.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance on buildings to ensure safety and functionality.

+ Complete apartment turns efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

+ Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.

+ Maintain an inventory of supplies and tools, and perform seasonal tasks such as mowing and snow/ice removal.

** What's Needed?*
* + Basic working knowledge of building maintenance, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and groundskeeping.

+ Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.

+ Highly motivated with a positive attitude.

+ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, follow-up, and follow through effectively.

+ Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures, and pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background checks.
