Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter to handle residential interiors and mixed painting projects across local job sites. Reporting to the Painting Supervisor, this role will deliver high-quality finishes through careful preparation, precise application, and thorough cleanup, with opportunities to advance to Lead Painter or Crew Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming.
• Match colors and apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Complete detailed painting work and perform finish repairs.
• Protect worksites, furnishings, fixtures, and surrounding areas during projects.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and work areas.
• Handle painting materials safely and efficiently.
• Follow workplace safety requirements, including ladder and scaffolding procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional painting experience.
• Experience with interior and exterior painting.
• Proficiency in surface preparation, brush and roller techniques, and spray painting.
• Knowledge of ladder and scaffolding safety and workplace safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local job sites.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
