Valley Wide Cooperative is seeking an Energy Driver to deliver product safely and efficiently to customers across the region.

Drivers deliver bulk propane, oil, gasoline, diesel, heating oil, diesel exhaust fluid, and lubricants. The role includes setting up and installing bulk tanks and containers, conducting safety checks, and maintaining accurate daily records.

• Care and maintenance of delivery truck.
• Deliver bulk propane, oil, gasoline, diesel, heating oil, diesel exhaust fluid, and lubricants.
• Set up and install bulk tanks/containers at customer location.
• Order and maintain bulk plant facilities.
• Conduct safety check and leak test on propane system.
• Relight appliances at customer location.
• Change filters and hoses at customer location as needed.
• Record daily tickets on manifest summary report.
• Maintain purchase orders for all repair work and keep records.
• Complete daily inspection reports.
• Enforce and adhere to company credit policy.
• Establish and maintain efficient route book.
• Communicate with stores and personnel via phone and radio.
• Adhere strictly to delivery price sheet and obtain approval for deviations.
• Acknowledge discounts and obtain management approval.
• Work closely with store managers and personnel.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
• Follow all commercial motor vehicle rules and safety practices.
• Respect customer property at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Class B CDL required with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Clean driving record with applicable endorsements.
• Fast‑paced delivery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of propane installation rules and regulations.
• Strong communication skills; professional manner with managers, supervisors, employees, customers, vendors, and general public.
• Ability to make appropriate decisions and execute them according to policy.
• Maintain customer service levels throughout the store.
• Determine order of need and task priority based on importance.
• Manager focus and exhibit strong critical thinking/problem‑solving skills.
• Professional and positive image.
