The job role will include but not be limited to:
- Managing tenancy accounts i.e. rental arrears, chasing, issuing demands where necessary
- Receipting rental payments to our system
- Paying clients via our lettings system and banking software
- Assisting clients with accounts queries
- Managing tenant deposits – logging deposits with the deposit scheme and processing deposit returns
- Processing contractor and supplier payments
- Bookkeeping i.e. organisation of supplier invoices, updating and maintaining supplier ledgers via software
- Completing VAT returns (training provided)
- Minimum of 1.5/2 years accounting experience (will be an advantage to have property accounts experience)
- Well-presented, professional with a proactive approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills particularly in the use of databases
- Must have attention to detail
- Ability to hit deadlines and exceed targets
- Excellent customer service experience including patience with managing client expectations and handling difficult clients.
