HR Work Placement

Responsibilities

• Support with the employee lifecycle (new starters, leavers, contract changes etc.)
• Complete references
• Conduct right to work checks
• Assist with creating and developing business-wide communications that captivate and engage URBN employees
• Participate in ad hoc HR, Learning & Development & Recruitment projects with the team
• Attend careers fairs to help attract talent to URBN
• Support with Assessment Centres & Work Experience Programme
• Assist the team in producing monthly reports and managing trackers
• Manage and respond to queries in the HR Inbox
• Coordinate the preparation of training courses and events (booking rooms, arranging equipment, etc.)
• Manage the HR team intranet page
• Assist with benefits admin
• Research into new, competitive rewards and benefits
• Contribute fresh, new ideas to inspire and excite our people,

• You must be a 2nd-year undergraduate student at a UK University undertaking an accredited placement year or currently working in one of our URBN stores
• You must be available for 1-year full time from July 2026 until July 2027
• A passion and enthusiasm for the URBN brands and what we represent
• Ability to multitask, effectively manage workload and to work to deadlines and targets
• Understanding of and ability to work within principles of equal opportunities, data protection and with regard of confidentiality
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to be creative with tools such as Canva and Power Point
• Good user knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook packages
