About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with SEND.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver structured interventions and support learning activities for pupils with SEND
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to plan, deliver, and assess individualised learning programmes
- Monitor progress and contribute to reports, reviews, and planning meetings
- Provide in-class support and occasionally lead whole class sessions as required
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
- Proven experience working with children with SEND, ideally within a primary school setting
- A strong understanding of inclusive education practices and SEND strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development
- Familiarity with EHCPs and intervention tracking
