We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher who will also take on the role of KS1 Phase Lead and English Coordinator. This position is based in a vibrant primary school in Romford, offering a supportive and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional ready to lead and inspire both students and staff in the KS1 phase.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach and manage a classroom within the KS1 phase, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Lead the KS1 phase, coordinating with other staff to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Oversee the English curriculum for KS1, implementing innovative strategies to enhance literacy.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
• Organise and lead training sessions for KS1 staff to ensure best practices in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with other phase leaders and the senior management team to align educational strategies and school-wide goals.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in KS1 education.
• Experience as a KS1 Teacher and ideally previous leadership experience within a primary school setting.
• Excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to lead curriculum development in English.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of leading a team and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a proactive approach to educational excellence.
