Social Sciences Teacher (Humanities, Psychology, Sociology & More)

An "Outstanding" secondary school in the Borough of Redbridge is looking for a Social Science Teacher to begin ASAP or September 2026. This is a permanent, full‑time position. The Head Teacher seeks a hardworking, driven and flexible teacher who can deliver a range of subjects at KS3‑5.

• Social Sciences Teacher
• The subjects ideally include any of the following:
  • Humanities – History or Geography
  • Health & Social Care
  • RE
  • Citizenship
  • PSHE
  • Sociology
  • Psychology
• Must be able to teach any of the subjects at KS3‑5 level
• Early Career Teacher (ECT) urged to apply
• Inspire the younger generation
• Expect progression through MPS1‑UPS3 + TLR
• Based in Inner London (Borough of Redbridge)
• Start ASAP or September 2026

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academic record – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a "Good" or "Outstanding" level
• Must be willing to listen to feedback

• Graded "Outstanding" in the latest Ofsted report
• Impressive Progress 8 results
• Modern & creative facilities throughout
• Impeccable behaviour throughout the school
• Plenty of additional support in class from graduate Teaching Assistants
