A large, welcoming Specialist SEN School in Ilford is seeking a dedicated Male Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This rewarding role involves working closely with male students who have Autism and a range of learning difficulties, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

• Experienced in SEN support, youth work, community care, or education.
• Patient, adaptable, and compassionate with strong communication skills.
• Confident working 1:1 or in small groups, building positive relationships with students.
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and professional conduct in schools.
• A positive team player who brings energy, empathy, and initiative to every day.
• (Bonus) Skilled in PECS, Makaton, Signalong, or Team Teach – desirable but not essential.

• Support students with Autism and learning difficulties to reach their full potential.
• Assist teachers in creating engaging and inclusive classroom environments.
• Provide tailored academic and emotional support to ensure each student thrives.
• Help young people build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
