EYFS Lead Teacher – Barking – September 2026 – Permanent Role

Are you looking to secure a new role from September 2026? Are you looking for a new challenge as an EYFS Class Teacher, teaching a class of reception pupils, alongside Leading the EYFS Phase. Reeson Education are looking for a Qualified Primary teacher to join a highly respected primary school in the vibrant and diverse borough of Barking, East London. This two-form entry school serves a diverse mixed community, located in a central Zone 2 East London area.

The school has an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ and benefits from excellent resources available through being an all-through academy, supporting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching a Primary EYFS Reception Class
  • Creating a welcoming classroom environment
  • Working closely with each class’s Teaching Assistant
  • Planning according to the curriculum with year group partners
  • Supporting the pupils with their core subjects
  • Supporting SEN children and tailoring lessons to fit their needs
  • Working with low ability pupils in small groups
  • Managing challenging behaviour in the classroom

Qualifications
  • QTS
  • Experience working in a primary school
  • Curriculum experience in EYFS
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Strong commitment to professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High levels of self‑motivation and drive
