Teaching Assistant

- The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support for pupils across the primary curriculum. You will assist with classroom activities, support small groups and individual learners, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.

Your responsibilities will include supporting pupils with varying learning needs, encouraging positive behaviour, preparing classroom resources, and helping to monitor pupils' progress. You may also provide additional support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they can access learning and achieve their individual goals.

The ideal candidate will be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's learning and development. Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and previous experience working within a primary school setting are highly desirable.
