Water Hygiene Engineer
Location:
Ilford, Greater London Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits
A successful and growing Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites around / within the M25. You will be covering a range of commercial and local authority contracts across the region. Applicants must be proficient in performing a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance tasks, including: shower head descales, TMV servicing, water sampling, outlet flushes.
There are fantastic opportunities for training, in addition to overtime earning. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: fleet vehicle, fuel card, annual leave and pension scheme.

Experience /
Qualifications:
-Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
-Robust technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
-Able to work independently on site when needed
-Good literacy and numeracy skills
-Confident using IT software
-Hardworking attitude
The Role:
-Shower head and outlet descales
-TMV inspections, servicing and failsafe checks
-Calorifier inspections and blowdowns
-Basic flushing on outlets
-Calorifier inspections
-Tank cleans and disinfections
-Water sampling
-Temperature monitoring
-Completing regular service reports
