We are a well-established law firm based in Ilford, London, and we are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the firm’s accounts function
• Manage client and office accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and ledgers
• Handle billing, invoicing, and credit control processes
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and internal procedures
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Supervise and support accounts staff, where applicable
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems

• Proven experience in an accounts or finance management role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• Experience with in a law firm or professional services environment is desirable
