Job Description:Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6/7 Physiotherapist to join our team at Queens Hospital, Ilford. The successful candidate will provide expert physiotherapy services within an acute orthopaedic setting.
What will you be doing in this Physiotherapy role?
The Band 6/7 Physiotherapist you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with acute orthopaedic conditions, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with both patients and the multidisciplinary team. You will also provide guidance and support to junior staff and physiotherapy students, while actively participating in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development. Ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with Trust policies and HCPC standards is essential, as is engaging with patients and their families to offer education and support regarding their conditions and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration is essential.
- Proven experience in an acute orthopaedic setting.
- Qualified as a Band 5 or Band 6 Physiotherapist with relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to professional development and patient-centred care.
