We’re seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a supportive SEN school in Waltham Cross. This is a key role where your work directly supports the safety, wellbeing, and smooth running of the entire school community.

Key Responsibilities

Securing the site (opening/locking up daily)
Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance, and general DIY tasks
Supporting with decorating and displays
Handling deliveries and general porter duties
Conducting regular health & safety checks
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards both inside and outside the school

What We’re Looking For

An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
A full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience in a caretaker or premises role (school experience preferred)
A can‑do attitude, great communication skills, and a flexible, reliable approach
Willingness to work on a rota including evenings and occasional weekends
