Were looking for an experienced and inspiring Theatre Manager to lead our five-theatre suite s is a senior leadership role, responsible for the operational management, clinical leadership and performance of the theatre complex.
Working closely with the Head of Nursing & Clinical Services and Hospital Director, you'll ensure high-quality, safe and efficient care for every patient, while driving service development, staff engagement and theatre utilisation. You'll also play a key role in maintaining strong working relationships with NHS Trust partners and guest consultants.

Main duties of the jobAs our Theatre Manager, you will be:
- Providing professional and operational leadership across the theatre department
- Ensuring safe, effective and evidence-based patient care in line with NMC/HCPC standards
- Managing theatre capacity, patient flow and workforce planning to maximise utilisation
- Leading and developing a multidisciplinary theatre team, including recruitment, appraisal and succession planning
- Managing budgets, stock control, implants and capital expenditure
- Overseeing governance, audits, incident investigations and compliance with CQC standards
- Supporting the introduction of new specialities and service developments
- Building strong relationships with consultants, NHS Trust colleagues and external stakeholders
- Participating in the hospital management team and on-call rota
With your substantial senior-level theatre experience, you will also have:
- NMC Registered Nurse (Part
1) or equivalent theatre qualification - Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of governance, infection control and regulatory standards
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead change, inspire teams and deliver results
- A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach
