Housing Solutions Officer

Location: Redbridge

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Solutions Officer for a local authority in East London.

In this role, you will provide housing advice, assess housing needs and help residents secure suitable accommodation.

Duties:

Assess residents' housing needs and circumstances, identifying appropriate housing solutions.
Provide clear and accurate advice on housing options, homelessness and tenancy matters.
Manage a caseload, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and within required timescales.
Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to secure suitable accommodation and support for residents.

Qualifications and

Experience:

Experience working within a housing, homelessness or local authority environment.
Experience assessing housing needs and providing housing advice to residents.
Experience managing a caseload and maintaining accurate case records.
Experience working with vulnerable customers and partner agencies to achieve housing outcomes.

What's on offer:

Salary: £30ph+

* may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
* Contract type: 3-6 months minimum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
