About the Role- To offer nurture and guidance to pupils, encouraging social, emotional, and mental health development.
- To use the radio and report any issues immediately
- To supervise pupils throughout the site and enforce school policies, particularly regarding uniform, behaviour, and punctuality
- To patrol the school grounds to ensure pupils behave appropriately and proceed to lessons in an orderly manner
- To assist with the removal of pupils from lessons, as directed by a member of the teaching staff
- To be a first aider and respond to first aid call requests (desirable)
- To support the staff on-call system
- Be sensitive to the welfare and care of the pupils both physically and emotionally
- To liaise with teaching staff regarding pastoral issues such as behaviour, wellbeing and attendance
- To administer and carry out all elements within the detention system for your given Year Group
- To contribute to the monitoring of pupils’ attendance
- To assist with break and lunchtime pastoral issues and duties as directed

To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as a Maths teacher, proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number
- Experience of working as a teacher in a British curriculum school as a Maths teacher for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.
- Full enhanced DBS certificate
- Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process
- The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a Maths teacher.
- A minimum of 2 school based references
