The Opportunity
A market-leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team in West Hallam.

Operating within a thriving manufacturing facility, you'll play a key role in maintaining production performance, driving reliability, and ensuring minimal downtime across the site.
As the sole engineer on shift, you'll need to be confident working autonomously while also contributing positively as part of the wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across production and process machinery
Maximise plant reliability, efficiency, and production uptime
Diagnose faults and implement effective engineering solutions
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
About You
We're looking for a proactive engineer with a strong maintenance background and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Essential Requirements
Recognised engineering qualification
Electrically qualified
Experience working with 3-phase systems, motors, and associated equipment
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
