Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant in the leisure industry, you will be joining a growing business in the area and support the Finance Manager from their office in Ilkeston.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently an Assistant Accountant or an Accounts Assistant (who has experience in supporting with Management Accounts) and looking for a step up as a Management Accountant.

Our client is a growing organisation and looking to add a Management Accountant to their team to support the Finance Manager.

This is a permanent opprtunity in Ilkeston, paying up to £40,000.

Description

Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency.
Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning.
Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Provide financial advice and support to management as needed.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications.
Experience in a similar role.
Strong skills in financial systems and tools.
The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Job Offer

Salary between £35,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Permanent position in Ilkeston.
