We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our Recycling site in Ilkeston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, operational experience, and a passion for safety and continuous improvement.

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring your team work safely, efficiently, and to the high standards expected across the Group. You'll support production activities, drive performance, and help maintain a culture of quality, teamwork, and compliance.

WHAT OUR

TEAM LEADER S DO:  

Support the Recycling Management team to implement and execute business improvement plans
Support Shift Managers and the wider team to deliver shift performance targets
Ensure production targets are met consistently and efficiently
Capture and log daily shift performance data accurately
Implement performance improvements across the operation
Attend daily production review meetings and report key information
Monitor equipment condition and performance, escalating issues when needed
 WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR

TEAM LEADER S:  

Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Operative role within recycling, production, or manufacturing
Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental standards
Confident communicator with effective leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively
Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
A hands-on, positive approach to supporting team success
