Welder​/Painter

Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for multiple Welders / Painters for our client based in Ilkeston.
IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW AND STARTS
Duties:
 
* Welding flanges on large utility pipes for the Water and Waste sectors predominately.
 
* You will be using automatic welding machines to weld the flanges on the pipes and manual welding any defects
 
* Spray painting coats on utility pipes
 
* Will be trained on manual lathes and other stages
Experience Needed/

About You:

* Basic experience of MIG Welding OR machine work
 
* Ability to learn new skills as requested.
 
* Previous paint experience advantageous.
 
* FLT Counterbalance license (desirable)
Pay/ Salary:
 * £13.88 p/h Days
 * £15.87 p/h Afternoons.
 
* Overtime x1.5 weekdays and Sat and x2 Sunday.
 
* Once permanent quarterly bonuses kick in.
Hours & Contract Type:
 
* 7am – 3.30pm Days
 
* 3pm – 10.30pm Afters (early finish Friday).
 
* Permanent contract after 12 weeks
