HGV Class 2 Drivers

We’re currently looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join an established operation in Ilkeston. This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular weekday work, consistent daytime shifts and customer-facing deliveries.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for completing a mixture of deliveries and collections across your allocated routes.

You’ll work independently throughout the day, ensuring goods are transported safely and deliveries are completed within the required time frames.

The role will involve:

Completing deliveries and collections

Following allocated daily routes

Carrying out vehicle checks

Ensuring loads are transported safely

Managing your own schedule and workload

Dealing directly with customers

Providing a professional and friendly service

You’ll need to be confident working independently and comfortable representing the company when dealing with customers.

Hourly Rate:
Pay & Benefits £16.33 per hour PAYEMonday-to-Friday working

Up to 28 days’ annual leave accrued pro rata

To be considered, you’ll need:

Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category

C) licence

Newly passed Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply

Valid Driver CPC

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Previous HGV Class 2 experience is advantageous but not essential

Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations

Reliable and professional approach

Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage your own route
