FLT Driver​/Warehouse Operative

Position: FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative
We are recruiting an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution operation in Dunnington, York. The company operates within the seasonal consumer goods industry, with a large York warehousing and distribution facility supporting deliveries across the UK. This is a hybrid role you will be operating an FLT but will also be expected to get off the truck and support the warehouse team with general duties when required.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am 6:00pm Weekends:
Flexibility required to work weekends during busy periods PPE:
Hi-vis and safety boots essential Duties Operating an FLT safely around the warehouse Loading and unloading containers and vehicles Moving and locating stock within the warehouse Pallet movement and stock organisation Supporting with manual loading and unloading Placing products onto the warehouse line Palletising goods Manual handling of items up to approximately 10kg General warehouse duties when not required on the FLT Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe Following all site Health & Safety procedures Skills Required Valid FLT licence/certificate essential Previous FLT experience within a warehouse or distribution environment Comfortable working in a hybrid FLT and warehouse role Happy carrying out manual handling and physical work Reliable with good attendance and timekeeping Able to work in a fast-paced environment Good awareness of warehouse Health & Safety Flexible to work weekends during busy periods Hi-vis and safety boots essential

this is not an FLT-only position. You must be happy to support with general warehouse and manual duties throughout your shift when required.
