Hours:

Monday Friday, 42.5 hours per week Robertson Recruitment are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join its busy Ilkeston operation. This is a permanent position offering stable working hours and enhanced rates for overtime, weekends and qualifying night hours. Applicants must have previous warehouse experience. PPT, counterbalance forklift or VNA licences would be advantageous, although candidates do not need to hold all three.

Available Shifts The position operates Monday to Friday, with the following shift options: 06:0015:30 08:3017:30 16:0001:30 20:0005:30 Employees will work 42.5 hours per week, based on nine paid hours per day. Pay Rates Standard rate: £12.71 per hour Monday Friday overtime after nine hours: £19.06 per hour Weekend rate: £25.42 per hour Night premium:
An additional £3.17 per hour for hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00 Where only part of a shift falls between 20:00 and 06:00, the additional £3.17 will only be paid for the qualifying hours. The remaining hours will be paid at the applicable standard rate.

Key Responsibilities Operating forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely Loading and unloading vehicles Moving and storing products within designated warehouse locations Picking and preparing orders for dispatch Receiving and checking incoming goods Completing stock checks and warehouse documentation Reporting damaged products and stock discrepancies Supporting general warehouse duties when required Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace Following company procedures and health and safety requirements Skills and Experience Previous warehouse experience is essential A PPT, counterbalance forklift or VNA licence would be advantageous Applicants holding one or more relevant licences will be considered Experience loading, unloading and moving stock Good attention to detail Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety Able to work accurately within a busy environment Physically capable of completing warehouse duties Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible regarding overtime and weekend working when required Whats on Offer Permanent, full-time employment Basic rate of £12.71 per hour Enhanced overtime and weekend rates Additional premium for qualifying night hours Stable Monday-to-Friday working pattern Long-term opportunity with an established logistics company Supportive warehouse and operations team If you have previous warehouse experience and hold a PPT, forklift or VNA licence, apply today for immediate consideration.
