Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking an Accounting Assistant 2 to join their team. As an Accounting Assistant 2, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail‑oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Assistant 2

Location: Mettawa, Illinois

Pay Range: $19-21

• Processing new membership agreements, hold requests, and other billing‑related member requests
• Preparation of KPI trackers to monitor financial performance
• Working closely with the Sales team and Member Experience team to ensure an excellent member experience
• Collaborating with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve invoicing issues
• Supporting general accounting and transaction processing activities

• Minimum 1 year experience in general accounting or transaction processing
• Associate degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong problem‑solving skills and knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operations;
  Accounts Payable/Receivable experience is a plus
