We’re seeking an energetic and driven Temporary Senior Accountant to provide all levels of full cycle accounting services to full-service and hybrid accounting clients. This role will focus on a specific book of business to ensure the success of our client. This role is temporary with the potential for a longer engagement down the road.

As the Temporary Senior Accountant
, you’ll:

• Deliver full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statements, in Quick Books Online and other client-selected software, in line with GAAP.
• Review client-entered transactions weekly, correcting coding errors and coaching client staff to prevent repeat issues.
• Reconcile cash, loan, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts, and reconcile the financials to the client’s tax return.
• Process payroll and payroll tax payments, keeping records accurate and ready for year-end filings.
• Prepare budgets and budget-to-actual comparisons, and lead quarterly financial review calls that turn results into clear insights for clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience; agricultural, multi-entity/intercompany, and payroll experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Quick Books Online and Microsoft Excel; experience with AgManager, AgVero, or other ERP software is a plus.
• Strong command of GAAP, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail across multiple priorities.
• Confidence leading virtual client meetings; CPA license desired and Quick Books Online Pro Advisor certification a plus.
