Reporting to the Global Procurement Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business results in the assigned categories/spend. The role includes developing and executing global strategies, ensuring continuity of supply, and minimizing total cost of ownership. The position oversees equipment material spend between $100‑$200M globally, depending on spend category complexity, and requires a minimum of 30% travel and flexible working hours.

• Work in a multicultural environment and collaborate with teams from various backgrounds, operating effectively across multiple time zones.
• Manage one direct report or act as an individual contributor depending on the spend category.
• Act as a savings engine while supporting the company’s equipment growth, delivering savings targets and collaborating with Platform Owners to fulfill business needs in growth and new launches.
• Develop global sourcing strategies and drive Go‑to‑Market events (RFP, e‑auctions, negotiations) to achieve cost savings, working‑capital improvement, and supply security.
• Support global strategic initiatives to continuously improve category performance.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and execution of projects, driving positive results against key business priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
• Engage with R&D and Procurement Business Partner teams to drive portfolio optimisation and consolidation.
• Drive accountability and P&L impact to achieve OGSM/business objectives.

• Minimum degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of sourcing experience, preferably in equipment material purchasing with strong commercial background and proven international working experience.
• Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.
• Strong professionalism and presence in interactions with others.

• Work closely with Platform Owners to fulfill business needs in growth and new launches.
• Develop global sourcing strategies and drive Go‑to‑Market events to achieve cost savings, working‑capital improvement and supply security.
• Support global strategic initiatives to continuously improve category performance.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution of projects.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal pricing and quality.
• Ensure supply security by driving sole source breaks and contingency plans.
• Engage with R&D and Procurement Business Partner teams to drive portfolio optimisation and consolidation.
• Deploy spend strategy by leveraging low‑cost market sourcing programmes and digital tools.
• Link market trend knowledge to supplier portfolios, generating innovative ideas for competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and guidelines relating to the chemical category.
• Be a safety and ethical champion (lead by example).
• Travel – minimum 30% required, flexible hours.

The base salary range for this position is $ – $. The role is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance and other compensation factors such as experience, education, training and geography. Ecolab complies with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
