Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic oversight. You will take on increasing responsibility for coordinating day‑to‑day construction activities, managing subcontractors, and supporting design and client communications. This role is ideal for professionals with foundational experience in construction who are ready to take the next step toward leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assists with project administration by way of RFI and submittal tracking, permit status tracking, contract document maintenance, critical path schedule development and maintenance, meeting documentation, bid solicitation, proposal qualification, and project changes tracking.
- Assists with problem solving, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and field communications.
- Represents the company professionally in project meetings and attends strategy meetings.
- Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients as needed.
- Formulates reports concerning such areas as work progress, scheduling, and permitting.
- Works with the superintendent as necessary to assist with planning, organizing, and directing activities onsite.
- Compiles as-built and close-out documents, develops and tracks completion of punch lists, and addresses warranty claims post-completion.
- Actively participates in team activities that promote a sense of “esprit de corps” amongst team members.
- Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates, taking full ownership of their projects.
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
