Reporting to Physician Executive or designee, the Gastroenterologist provides comprehensive physician services to assess, diagnose, plan, and treat a wide range of patients with health issues, illness, or injury within Endeavor Health facilities – specifically Edward and Elmhurst Hospital region. The role collaborates with an inter‑disciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive clinical coordination of patient care, resulting in integrated health care that is timely, high quality, customer focused, and utilizes resources effectively to optimize patient outcomes.

The selected candidate will support the growth in the Naperville, IL market with development of a GI presence on the Edward Hospital campus. The call will be shared with the Elmhurst market GI Physician team.

• Full Time: 1.0 FTE, 36 Patient‑facing hours
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday along with weekday and weekend call rotation.
• Setting:
  Mix of Clinic, Hospital (inpatient), and Endoscopy Lab
• Robust PCP & Specialty Care Network
• 24/7 Hospitalist & Intensivist programs with shared EMR – Epic
• Experienced Mid‑level support in both the clinic and hospital settings

• MD in Medicine required
• Current DEA and all other required licenses as related to specialty
