Church of the Redeemer is a worshiping community in the Anglican tradition learning to follow Jesus in Highwood, IL. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) curate who desires to grow in practical ministry experience while helping the parish grow our vision for loving and serving individuals and families in our local community. The curate will assist in the sacramental and pastoral life of the church while taking primary leadership in community outreach, particularly among Spanish-speaking individuals and families.
Recognizing that each individual brings unique gifts and passions to ministry, the specific responsibilities of this 2-year, 20/hour week curacy will be shaped in collaboration with the curate.
This role is ideal for someone recently ordained (or preparing for ordination), or who wants to develop parish ministry skills as part of preparation for church planting.
