Job Description
As a School Social Worker Clinician with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, working with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.
Menta Academy Iroquois (Sheldon, IL)
Staff
Hours:
7:30 am to 3:00 pm, M-F, following a 10-Month School Calendar
- Employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral approaches
- Build leadership to effectively help students succeed
- Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
- Monitor and report student progress, complete evaluations, conduct program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
- Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary
- Hold ONE of the following
Licenses/Certifications:
Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), Certified School Counselor (IL PEL Certificate), MSW with LSW, LCSW, LCPC, LPC, or LCP - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
- Creative thinker capable of developing interventions for a diverse student population
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
