Location: University Park
Adjuncts are hired on a course basis each term. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,750.00 per course.
Governors State University’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of local (Chicagoland area) Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDSS).

Interested individuals are invited to complete a faculty profile and attach a curriculum vitae, cover letter, transcripts, and list of references for consideration. If available, please also include a sample syllabus or a current or recently taught course.
Required andPreferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching undergraduate classes at an accredited college or university.
- A doctoral degree in interdisciplinary studies, education, the humanities, social sciences, or a multi-disciplinary field such as Black & Africana Studies or Gender & Sexuality Studies.
- Experience teaching online at an accredited college or university.
- Experience teaching academic writing.
- Experience teaching career planning.
- Cover letter
- CV or Resume
- Transcripts
- List of three professional references with current contact information.
