Unity High School is an exemplary secondary school of 525 students located approximately 8 miles south of the University of Illinois Campus. Unity is a progressive learning community with students from 5 different rural communities making up its student body. The Unit #7 School district has recently completed 21 million dollars of new construction, completing two elementary attendance centers and a Junior High School.

Between the Junior High School and High School sits a state of the art athletic center and all of our outdoor athletic facilities have been completely renovated. Candidate must be certified to teach Mathematics at the high school level.

High School Mathematics. Course load TBD by candidate’s areas of strength. Experience or interest in professional development activities is preferred. Talented and organized education leaders with exceptional people skills are encouraged to apply.

Salary will be commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience as determined by a competitive salary schedule. Employees of Unity High School will qualify for tuition reimbursement at the University of their choice and will take part in an extensive new employee mentoring program. The children of candidates hired within the Unit #7 School district may attend school in our district regardless of residency.

This is a full-time teaching position.
