Adjunct Faculty, Nursing AY25-26
Governors State University’s College of Health and Human Services seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach courses in Nursing majors.
At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not a part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate.
ResponsibilitiesTeach Nursing courses in the Undergraduate Nursing program.
Required AndPreferred Qualifications
- Minimum:
Master’s Degree with a Major in Nursing - Preferred:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (classroom or online) - Preferred:
Blackboard 9.1 experience - Preferred: CNS Adult Health and FNPS supplemental Information
