Daily Rate = $175

• Deliver lesson plans as instructed by the regular classroom teacher and/or school administrators.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students within the assigned classroom and appropriately respond to all emergency situations.
• Ensure the protection of equipment, materials, and facilities as appropriate.
• Communicate positively with all students, staff, and others.
• Manage student behavior to support a positive learning environment.

• Participate in building events such as fire drills, evacuations, assemblies, etc.
• May need to direct activities of classroom assistants.

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Willingness to work 5 days per week at the assigned school.

• The work environment characteristics are representative of those encountered while performing essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made. The employee may need to sit, stand, walk, and work with materials such as paint, clay, glue, crayons, etc. Vision abilities required include close vision. The noise level is usually moderate.
