The Big Picture
Mt. Bethel Church () is seeking an energetic and dynamic full-time Lead Pastor willing to adhere to our Statement of Faith.
The Church
We are a family of men, women, and children seeking to worship, love, and glorify our Triune God through Spirit and truth. We aim to love the Lord and His people, evangelize the lost, disciple the saints, and make Christ known through expository (verse-by-verse) preaching of His Word. We meet every Sunday morning, beginning with classes for children and adults at 9:00 AM, followed by our worship service at 10:00 AM.
We also meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM. More information about men's groups, women's groups, and children's groups is available. Church membership is 100+ with an average attendance of 50+.
The Community
McClure is located at the western end of Snyder County in rural central Pennsylvania, with a population just under 1,000. Opportunities for hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities abound. Harrisburg, Williamsport, and State College (Penn State) are within an hour’s drive, while Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are about 3.5 hours away, and New York City and Washington, D.C. are approximately 4 hours away.
