Position Title: Supervisory Aide - In School Directed Study

FLSA Class: Non-Exempt
Days: 176 day student calendar during the school year (Anticipated 7.25 hours / 7:25 am - 3:10 pm)
Rate of Pay: $ (Based on experience) and board paid IMRF
Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the building Principal, this position will supervise students assigned to the In School Directed Study room and, when available, assist in maintaining an orderly and safe atmosphere throughout the building and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students at non‑instructional times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure students assigned to In School Directed Study are completing class assignments as instructed by teacher(s).
- Ensure students follow the behavior expectations for school activities.
- Assist in supervising students before and after non‑instructional times.
- Report to principals as appropriate regarding infractions, safety concerns, or other issues involving students.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Principal.

Successful prior experience working in a supervisory position in a school district or with children is preferred.
Certification/License:
Paraprofessional or Substitute License is preferred.
