• Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with parents, teachers, and specialists to support student growth
• Utilizing innovative teaching techniques to engage and inspire students
• Monitoring and assessing student progress
• Providing a safe and inclusive classroom environment

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution
• A valid Illinois teaching license (PEL LBS-1)
• Experience working with children in a school setting, especially those with special needs (preferred)
