Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation, and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import/export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals;

petrochemical and refined product transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the U.S. inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Inspects and makes terminal equipment adjustments as directed.
  • Controls the flow of product, ensures product quality, and maintains record‑keeping system to monitor operations.
  • Communicates with Pipeline Control concerning operations of the pipeline (switches, batch totals, deliveries, etc.).
  • Performs manifold line‑ups, tank gauging, and routine terminal operations.
  • Monitors and ensures that product quality remains within acceptable standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with other terminals concerning pipeline problems that would affect operations.
  • Helps in developing paperwork, logs and records related to inventories and quality controls.
  • Performs remedial and preventive maintenance within the terminal.
  • Maintains constant surveillance of the terminal and reports any problems or potential problems to the Supervisor.
  • Knowledgeable of environmental regulations and company policies concerning handling and disposal of environmental wastes.
  • Attends training programs on a continuing basis.
  • Attends all safety meetings and safety training courses as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned.
  • Coordinated terminal and station operations with Pipeline Control and other affiliates to ensure timely, safe, and quality‑controlled handling of products.
  • Operates process‑related equipment, performs preventative maintenance, and conducts product quality sampling.
  • Tests basic product accounting and measurement, works with flammable and corrosive chemicals, and loads/unloads rail tank cars and trucks.
  • Participates in cross‑training to develop skills in areas specific to other operators and technicians.
  • Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside the facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Technical certification or equivalent training/experience in a processing plant, pipeline or similar industry is desired.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years stable work history, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Strong commitment to personal and job safety.
  • Mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools and equipment.
  • Basic mathematical calculations and basic computer skills (spreadsheet and word processing).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, decision‑making skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain and promote good working relationships within a team environment.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, and perform duties under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime, handle call‑outs, and live or relocate to within a one‑hour response time of the job assignment.
  • Self‑motivated individual able to work independently or in a team environment and willing to learn.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected.
  • Dependable and reliable, takes pride in a job well done, and enjoys working hard.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good customer‑relation skills with the ability to interface with land owners and other corporate and field personnel.
