Overview
Electrical Designer
Responsible for design of Electrical Systems and control systems. AutoCAD experience is required (AutoCAD LT is used). No 3D experience is required. Responsibilities include specification of parts, wire sizing, and component selection.
Cabinet design, control panel layout and design, and automation/controls/PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell) experience are a plus, as are utilities design skills.
Responsibilities- Design electrical systems and control systems.
- Specify parts, size wires, and select components.
- Develop cabinet designs and control panel layouts.
- Design and implement automation/controls/PLCs (AB/Rockwell).
- Assist with utilities design as it pertains to electrical systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD (LT preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring, and component specification.
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate systems.
