R&D Materials Planner

Position Overview

• Responsible for procurement and supply of Engineering materials spread across various build locations.
• lso responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the R&D product cycle .
• There are opportunities to communicate, and problem solve with cross functional teams

• Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the Procurement process .
• Determines material requirements from Engineering .
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering
• Procurement business system data input and integrity; work w BOMs and parts #in SCM database or other enterprise SW

• Purchasing Experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Ideally 2-7 years

• MS Office - Knowledge with Excel
• Analytical and data manipulation skills
• Good Organizational Skills
• Good Communication Skills
• Excels in fast paced environments
• Experience working cross functionally
• Intuitive and Proactive
• Sense of Urgency
• Experience with R&D
• Experience with Peoplesoft a plus
